  • Bumper Tag restoration - any leads?

My Champ has a dealer installed heavy duty rear bumper. It had a 2x3" manufacture's tag riveted on it. It's aluminum raised letters with red background. Like to find someone to restore it.
    Thanks in advance,
    Kim

Is it a Safe "T" Bumper? They were common in So. Calif.

Just take a picture of the weathered Tag it can be scanned into a Vinyl Printer, and enhanced to have a fresh looking 3M Vinyl Decal made from that.

It's an aluminum tag, Rich. Don't think he would want to replace it with a vinyl sticker .

Well, you would certainly place it over the age damaged Paint ON the Aluminum plate. Dah !
No one could tell if it was Painted or Decaled.

Sorry, but Any One with a good Eye WILL be able to determine between Paint or Vinyl Overlay - and more likely if applied over age damaged Paint.
