  • 2006 Buick Lacrosse and a 2002 Impala LS here. The Lacrosse is smooth and quiet but doesn't quite have the punch of the Impala. (Both have 3800 V6's) However, the Lacrosse isn't broken in good yet.

Been considering a new Deville or a Hyundai Azera.

      • "I don't mind the foreign make bashing (undeserved though it may be), but the labour bashing is getting old. I guess the American public is spoiled with it's five day work week, overtime pay, health benefits (where available), worker's comp, Department Of Transportation, etc, etc, ad naseum. All of these things are dirivative of the Union Movement. I.O. you can thank the unions for them."
Yea and you can also thank the unions for a decent standard of living for those lucky enough to belong to a good one.
Do you think the companys would be willing to share the wealth with thier minnions witout unions?
Talk to a guy working at Wal-Mart.
Unions are what made America and Canada the prosperous countrys they are,and without them we'd still be poor while the managers drove thier new Lexus to work.

              • There's a '57 Transtar in the driveway. If I wanna go anywhere today, that's what I'll be driving. If IT doesn't feel like going, then I'm stranded here.

Of course, I could dust off the long-dormant Lark in the shop and take it for a spin, but the primary ride is the Transtar. No reason for it not to be.[8D]

                Miscreant adrift in

Took your advice and asked my sister, who's worked at Wal-Mart for 4 years... loves the job, benefits, and profit-sharing plan... while telling the unions who want to move in to take a hike.

Wal-Mart never has any shortage of job applicants- or customers; seems they've got it right to me...
