  • Speaking of '53 Champ Starliners

Here's one that isn't too badly priced either.

    Pics here: http://www.oldcars.fotki.com/1953-studebaker-cha/

I know nothing of the car, just happened upon it and thought I'd pass it on.

It's incredible how great design stands the test of time. The '53 Star Light and Starliner coupes still look contemporary in 2006.

            Hi Matthew,

I posted the '53 Starliner Coupe for sale on this message board on Sept 30th. This car has a great body all around and will make a nice car when finished.

Tomorrow, I am going to look at a '57 or '58 President 2dr Club Sedan that has just as nice a body as the Starliner. Only thing is, someone put a 350 Chev engine in it. It, too, needs to have the interior and chrome redone.

I must admit, I don't know a whole bunch about these cars, but I am sure enjoying going around and finding them. I have a lead on a '49 Stude Convertible that I plan on checking out in a week or so.

            Have a great day,

            oldcars

Those 57-58 President two doors are RARE cars! Definitaly worth saving in my eye. I'd like to combine one with a later Stude convertible...

                    'OldCars'~

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE keep us (or at least me!!!) in the loop on what that "'57 or '58 President 2dr Club Sedan" turns out to be. Maybe post a picture, or send me one 'offline'? They are few and far between, and I'd like to see what it really is you found. I'd also like to get some information from you about it if you don't mind...
I'm keeping a sort of 'roster' of these things in the hopes of one day having a website about them. Thanks in advance!
