  • Hawks for Breakfast !

Hey folks, it's not often we have more than one Studebaker at a time come to our usual Saturday morning breakfast, but along with many other interesting cars, we had these two great looking GT Hawks this morning. One supercharged (gold one), and one not (red one) ! Makes it a really lovely day in the neighborhood !!!!

          Hi j.byrd,
I like the de-chroming that the owner did on the red '64. Did you get any pictures of how he handled the stainless steel trim on top of the quarter panels?

Yes Craig, again, but we had never seen the red car and Randy was in his gold Hawk and wanted to wave at everyone, and I thought the guys might like seeing the difference between the two....And.... Randy's car is so very nice that it seems OK to show it more than once.

Dwight FitzSimons, this is the only "different view" I have of Mike's car, perhaps it shows what you asked ? If not, he said he will join us again next Saturday and if I have sense enough, I'll try to get more pics.

Looks like he just caped off the front of the mldg. and left off the small piece that runs to the door.

Looks like a 32 Ford roadster in the picture which also makes a nice breakfast addition.

E.Davis, that is Dick Scritchfields 32 Phaeton. It was a subject car of how to build a car back in 66 in Car Craft when he was an editor there. Cool guy, (and he also started the L.A. Roadster Club.)
