    this was at Billet proof car show in Antioch today ...I wonder if he knew how much those 50 Chrome noses are bringing ..when he added to the 53? Pickup grille ...

    1954 trucks are rather rare in numbers. I appreciate his freedom to play with his vehicle, but the effort aesthetically enhances neither. Converting the doors to suicide style could help them live up to the nickname.

      Maybe the driver wanted it to look more like the Ford in the background. It looks like it belongs there. Anyway, it doesn't look like the grille was altered at all to have this custom touch.

        I'll never understand going to the effort to reverse the doors. For some reason it is popular with some folks.

          On a Tv show, A man paid 125,000 to have his already nice looking Studebaker R series converted to Custom, They put a bullet nose in front grille. Truck left shop with no paint on it! , I would rather have had it as it came in to the shop!
