Ed,
Sounds like fun, I wish that I had known about it! The Puget Sound chapters and the Portland/SW Washington chapter need to do a better job of sharing event information! Too bad that the event couldn't have been held a little bit earlier so that it could have coupled with the Can-Am, but I know that the last thing that the Edsel club was thinking about was a Stude meet.
The Valley Drive-in was the last on the lower part of Puget Sound to close. Laurel Berry hosted a joint event, as the theater was scheduled to close, but it was not well attended. I just wonder if night driving is part of the reason for the sparse attendance, but I was also wondering if there was a chance to do it over would the turn out be better. There are several drive-ins on the Olympic Peninsula which are still in seasonal operation. Several years ago I researched the surviving drive-in theaters, the list of which is still around here, if I can find it.
