Hi Todd! I found a link with mention of your Mylar here:

Long story short, the Mylar was purchased from Southeast Studebaker.

Several years ago i installed mylar on my Packard Hawk:

Very important to use a soap water mixture sprayed on the car wet so that material can be moved easily and all bubbles can be smoothed out with a spatula or similar tool.

It may seem counterintuitive to do this but it really does work and in a day or so it sticks perfectly. If you don't use this method you'll have a mess.

Purchased the mylar from S.I. and had to cut it to size. The problem I have, is that it has faded to silver as did the original and was the reason for the replacement.,

Todd: Just now realized You started this thread. You've seen my car so you know the mylar installation was good. If you need more information call me

Over the years, several different runs of this Mylar have been made. The shop that I worked at had three or four runs made of it. We used some and sold the rest. The companies would make small runs of it - probably enough for three to five cars. I no longer have any information or contact information on the companies that made it. Now in the age of the Internet, it should not be too hard to find a company to make a run of this.

The Southeast Studebaker mylar doesn't come with self adhesive applied to it so therefore you can't use the technique of soapy water solution. That would only work with original Mylar .
You have to spray the fin and the Mylar with contact adhesive for it to adhere. A painful job!

Anyone spoke to the Renee Harger 865 525 6151 Southeast Studebaker, LLC lately? I ordered some material last year from him. Now I am trying to install it and ruined some of it. So I am looking for tips and more mylar. Any help?
