    Greg-
Have you thought of having a few copies made, either for sale or to donate to a few institutions so the data aren't lost? I for one would be willing to buy one. This issue comes up several times a year.

StudeRich, I was in contact with Will about some stuff he still can't locate and I think he has the list.

I believe Will Sander already has a copy of the Upholstery book. We were using it last time we were there.

I now have all these door panels in my possession, as the Jeep dealer offered them to our Ohio Region SDC to sell when he ran into me in Greenville last weekend. Nice gesture of him for sure.

The pictures of the panels are in post no. 6, above. Pics nos. 3 and 7 are already spoken for.

There is also a black '61 Lark Regal LR four-door panel, not photographed above, perhaps found later.

Upon closer look, we believe the light blue front panel for a '61 Lark Regal is for a two-door hardtop or convertible as it is in a longer box. It has small Lark birds in the upholstered material, very nice.

It does strike me as odd that the remaining two 1962 panels don't have the window/door/armrest holes punched out, but each is in a Studebaker box with part no. on it. (Both are RF; one is saddle tan and white for a Cruiser as it has a map pocket; the other is for a 4-door Lark Regal in turquoise).

I plan on having all of these at the big Summit Racing Studebaker meet in August; make an offer for one or all; no reasonable offer refused. Thanks!

Bill: Are the fiberboard backings punched, just not the vinyl covering on top of the backing? Just curious. BP

Bob, I'll have to look tomorrow and see if the fibergoard backings are punched. Good question!

For what it's worth, I have seen many NOS door panels over the years and all of them had the cardboard holes punched in them. But, not all of them had the vinyl holes punched over top. I have not detected any pattern or explanation as to why some have the holes in the vinyl and some don't.

I looked this morning, and the '62's have holes cut out in the back (cardboard material) for window crank, door handle, and armrests, but not through the vinyl in front, although it looks like there are perforated areas in the vinyl for at least the door handle.

Hmmm, I wonder if the super cheap fleet larks came without armrests in 62? I know my grandparents 62 delux 4 door had them.
