That 1000 is 12.2% of the Avantis built. I would think that at least 50% still exist.

Hopefully, the data is good and current.

Would it not be appropriate to break that down to original Avantis (i.e. 1963-64) and the others (1965 and beyond)? I looked at the site but did not see a breakdown. Maybe just missed it?

The Main page does talk about the Groups being broken down, but you're ahead of me if you even found a way to display the List of registered Avantis! I find no way to open it from the Link Posted.

On the home page, just under the National Museum box, click on the box for the Avanti Registry. You get a drop down which lists all the groups.

The main registry page (http://www.theavanti.net/registry.html) is the gateway to the 14 sub-registries VIA the drop down menu. The "Avanti Registry" menu appears on all 15 pages of the registry in the upper left corner.

The 14 distinctive links are in chronological order beginning with the 1963 Studebaker cars (http://www.theavanti.net/registry63.html) and concluding with the 21st century cars (http://www.theavanti.net/registry01.html)
