My new Studebaker related resto project...

So far I have been helping with getting the new museum area painted and ready for opening, but there will be lots of opportunities for wrenching on stuff. There are four Studebaker built Wright 1820 Cyclone motors, they have less than 40 hours total time on them!! Of course, they will all have to be rebuilt after sitting almost 70 years.

NICE! I noticed that your group is having a "B-17 Ground Crew Training" on Saturday April 4th. Other than being halfway across the country, AND I will again be escorting 200 WWII Veterans to Washington DC to see their Memorial, I'd love to attend!
We normally take 70 Veterans at a time, However, we are unable to get use of Plainfield High School in May due to Graduations! So, we (Indy Honor Flight board) decided that we would do TWO flights on the same day, April 4th, and take 100 Veterans per flight! We will fly 1 hour apart, and other than the breakfast in the morning, and the Homecoming, we will never interact with each other.
This IS our most challenging flights yet! But, we will prevail, and we WILL make 200 Veterans kings for the day!
