Very cool!! Congrats Nelson!! So, this would be the second year that a Studebaker was featured for the MCACN (Muscle Car And Corvette Nationals) write up in Hemmings Muscle Machines. It is very exciting to see these cars get the coverage they deserve among the big three muscle cars at the Pure Stock drags and at MCACN!! I cant wait to get my copy and I hope that another Stude makes it in next years Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals report!

Actually, Eddie; the way they took the subject photograph, you can see three Avantis in the background...and even a peek at Eric DeRosa's 1963 R2/4-speed, Rose Mist Custom 2-door that was crosswise at the opposite end of the display, "bookending" Nels' Daytona. BP

Thanks for the notice, Bob P. (also for the nice note you sent) I have subscribed to the entire Hemmings magazine set on line, seems like it was only 25 bucks, and it sends them all in email subscription form ! Great deal....but...I still kept the Classic Cars by book subscription too, ha !
