You aren't thinking of buying it, are you, Guido? If not, here goes: "I sure wouldna Done It Thataway". You've got to admit that it Looks like the King of The Kustomizerz got ahold o' that one, and ended up very frustrated! Probably, a bottom-feeding Rat Rodder will get ahold of it. Does merit honorable mention for at least trying to build a cool car. Styling theme Kind of reminds me of a Sunbeam Tiger.

I'll bet that this one whistled while it was being driven down the road
Oh, I wouldn't worry about any rat rodders, most likely nature will be allowed to run its course and melt it into the ground. Actually I would be happy to have a rat rodder take on this project, mix up a little lime-gold metal flake and some scallops.

If one takes a look at the custom car magazines from the late 50's-early 60's that was a period of wild customs with fins, canted headlights, parts from 15 different marques, and very often it was hard to tell what the original vehicle was. This fits the time frame. As far as the "bottom feeding Rat Rodder" comment I'm thinking Dave nailed it.Mono mind in a stereo world

Eventhough I like to drive old cars as rusty and old and delapidated as they are, I can't really call myself a rat rodder. I have seen some really cool looking rat rods though!! The only time that rat rodders really erk me is when they take a 1of 1 car, or a concours car and chop it all up. I saw a concours restored Model A running gear on eBay going for next to nothing a few months back. Turns out the guy builds hot rods and wanted a perfect unmolested body to chop. More power to him I guess... but just to think that someone went through all the work and effort into making that car a 100 point car. Really blows my mind sometimes.
Oh well.. if you can afford it and it makes you happy do it I guess!
This car has A LOT of potential in the Kustom world. I can picture this thing done up in a 1950's motif. Flat black with lots of chrome... I say toss it to the rats!![]
Actually... I wouldn't mind getting my hands on it....[^]

I like the grill treatment on this one. Similar to a Packard Hawk, but more attractive (IMHO).
