Having my radiator recored for my 1957 Packard Clipper wagon, 289, automatic, and soon (I hope)
    Re supercharged.
Looking for a spare radiator for this car. Studebaker-Packard part number is 1543643. Anybody have one they could let go of, please let me know.
I have a 1957 Studebaker President radiator in there now but, want to put back the internal trans cooler as this came out of a manual shift car. If anyone has a use for it or want to swap it for what I seek, let me know.
Also have a good used 57 President windshield available if somebody needs one. Good driver condition, had some sand pits but, no Bullseyes.

It usually only takes 3 to 5 Days to get your re-cored Rad. back from a local Radiator Shop, can't you just wait for it?

Oh, no problem there as far as waiting is concerned. I just wanted to nose around the possibility of having locating a spare.

OK, that makes total sense, another HOARDER like myself! I guess you never know when a Crow is going to fly into that thing.

You do have a few options though, two are: you could have a cooler installed in your Std. Sedan Radiator all it is, is a piece of Tubing or just use a External Cooler.

Hi Rich, Oh yes, a hoader I be! Just ask my Wife!
I do have the external cooler hooked up in line with the factory one. Although it's the only cooler working now, until the right radiator comes back from shop.

Does it have a tag and number on it? For example McCord 5S5 or similar?

            Dean.
