  • Looking for a recommendation for a Studebaker Carb rebuilder

Need to get my 1962 GT Hawk carb rebuilt. 289 v 8 2 barrel. Any recommendations?

I sent my Stromberg 2 barrel from my '62 hawk to the Daytona Parts Co. in Florida. It wasn't cheap, but it came out perfect. Just like new and I didn't need to touch a thing. I bolted it right on and the car ran better than ever.

    Hope this helps,
    Tim

Dave Thibeault is the expert on rebuilding these.
He is one of our "GOOD GUY" vendors.

Rebuilt 3 of mine and work perfectly. He will do plain rebuilt to plated show quality.
Has a website. A bit less money also.

T-bow has done five or six for me once I realized my own rebuild improved almost nothing.
In fact, just this morning the temperature in the garage got in to the low forties and I thought to take advantage by removing the carb from the Rockne and sending it to him.

In front of the Rockne I changed my mind. Don't know how he/she got in, since the entire basement is sealed and the garage doors haven't been opened in a couple months but, maybe another time.Click image for larger version
