I have mentioned in the past that Pat and Dan Skidmore are my aunt and uncle. Their family was the closest to mine growing up and Aunt Pat and my dad have been very close in a large family. She has been a driving force to family reunions that have been going for more than 60 years and are attended by 80 to 90 relatives for a week every three years. She always had a smile for everyone. She suffered a stroke a little over a year ago and has been fighting to come back from it. She was hospitalized recently and the fight became too much for her and she passed. I know many have known them in the southern California area and beyond through the SDC and AOAI. They own, amongst others, one of the finest '50 Landcruisers you will ever see. It is displayed and driven at the Automotive Driving Museum in El Segundo. They also supplied restoration parts to many of our vendors and restored radios and parts. She will be sorely missed by all.

I met Dan and Pat over 30 years ago. Sorry to hear bad news because they are the type of people that make this club so friendly and helpful.

I never met Pat, but I've know Dan for a long time. My heart goes out to him.
