  • No big thing but cool

I was watching the Late Late Show tonight & they were talking about sports & things & the subject of cars came up. Drew Carey turned to his "sidekick" George & asked "what car did you drive to work today" and George answered "a 62 Studebaker Lark convertible with a supercharger" which I thought was cool & would post it here. Nice to see out favorite car be mentioned especially on national television.

I wonder what the story is on the supercharger. R2 retrofit, brand X engine with any of several choices, or none of the above? We will probably never know.

The car and owner were at the La Palma meet in 2014. Don't remember everything about it but it is Studebaker power and a Paxton Supercharger setup. He even bought an R2 air cleaner for it. George is a real nice guy who loves driving and talking about his Studebaker.

              A quick search showed:
              George Gray
Hosted a variety of different shows over the years, the one I remember was "What's with that House ?"
The 62 is only one of his many cars.
