Jewell...Last Saturday I looked at a bullet nose in Richmand, KY and it was nearly as rough. I have the Studebaker illness and will eventually have a bullet nose however not that one. It was a 51 two door sedan advertised as a 49. There was so much vehicle rusted away that the body surely was structurally sagging-spreading (doors were off). There were, I think, two glass sections not broken. Slim pickings even for a parts car.Ray Stewart SDC

One has to wonder if they reinforced the frame when they made it into a pickup. Once they cut the top off then all the body integrity was solely the frame. Wonder if the frame flexed when they put a load in the bed?Milt

Wow an extremely rare 1950 Studebaker Commanchereo-camino. It's obviously a former military vehicle, probably Navy since it's blue and most likely got shot up in Korea before being civilianized and used as a farm truck. If I didn't all ready have three 1950 Champions to build, this could be for me. Wonder if the guy has a camper shell for it?sigpic1966 Daytona (The First One)

Ray, The good thing about a 50 or 51 is there are plenty around and not priced to high. Take your time and you will find the right car.Originally posted by Ray Stewart View PostJewell...Last Saturday I looked at a bullet nose in Richmand, KY and it was nearly as rough. Merry Christmas, Mark
