    That Edelbrock power brake fitting is real cute, but why wouldn't you put it where it belongs, in the Manifold?

    Since Manifold Vacuum is Manifold Vacuum, why not connect the PCV where it belongs in the Back where the P/B is recommended to go for Chevrolets without anywhere else to put it?

      So contrary you try to be....
      That carb fits multiple applications, some of which might not have your sacred vacuum port in the intake runner.
      Just accept it and enjoy life.

        Not contrary Jeff, just Studebakerly!

        Thats fine for non-Stude. Engines, but most of us here have Stude. Engines and could care less what the "Majority" do with their Comeros!

          Your bias is showing.
          Using a central port for that function is better for the engine than drawing vacuum off of one individual port runner.
          But, you stick to your 1960's mentality and cherish it for all it is worth.
          There are a lot of people here who embrace upgrades and modernizing their equipment for both performance, safety, and reliability.

          I respect those that 'restore' their vehicles to only the exact the OE spec's.
          Personally, I do not have the discipline to build a car (or truck) up today, and only build is as marginal as the 1960's technology and manufacturing realities would allow.

          This is a circle jerk of a conversation, but ignoring any update in technology for nostalgia sake is pretty harsh.
          Might as well go Amish.... (Even they would change powerplants when a better one came along)....

                Until looking again at the pic, I thought it was an AFB carb we were talking about....
                But it is a Demon carb.
                Apples and oranges....
                But....
