    Jeff, good luck with your resto! I was only having a dig at you before since you beat me to that deal, being on the ground helps, not 10,000 mls away.
    Anyhow, yes I did pretty much all of the work on my car except the engine/trans rebuild and the interior. Of course chrome/SS was also sent out.
    I started it in 2010 but only briefly ( restored the chassis) and then it sat till this Easter until I got back into it and now it is just about done.
    We have our National Meet coming up next Easter so I would hope for it to be there.
    If you need any help/advice on your resto drop me a line. Carey on this Forum is also very helpful
    I know that they abolished lead paint in C.A years ago which is what I use, it has best lustre to it just like how the cars were finished from new. Everything now has Isocyanides in it which kills the user not the environment.

      Yes, I hope backyard painters realize that without a supplied air system and full hood, isocyanate paints are extremely dangerous to spray. What is ingested into the painter's lungs cannot be expelled...and in some folks will fester into the kind of problems we dislike speaking of.
