    Thanks, That's very similar to the set up I have in my car, but I only have street tires. What sort of 60' times were you able to get? Did you have a higher stall torque converter? Sure hope someone does something with your old car.

      They were in the 1.83 to upper 1.89's on a footbrake stall of 2000. The GM 350 was quicker shifting than the B/W tranny. An a Powerglide would ET just as good as the 350 with just one shift. Tryed a holeshot B&M but it didn't flash as good as a TCI SteetFighter. Don't recall any 1.7 times but plenty of mid 1.8's and 1.9's. I drove around the waterbox most of the time.

        Has anyone that knows how, contacted "JUDE in Maine" so that he knows the truth about his car ?

          Thanks that gives me a good idea of what is possible with a sticky tire and simple rear suspension.
