    Two front ends

    On another thread there was discussion of the old saw about not being able to tell if a post war Studebaker was coming or going. Anybody else remember the bullet nose car at Gettysburg in 1980 with two front ends?[:0] Got pictures?

    1952 Champion Starlight since October,1971. 1962 Daytona

    Yes. I remember it. I probably have pix somewhere deep in my archives, but I can't guarentee when I will be able to look for it. Back then I was taking 35mm slides.

        No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

            I have it on a 60mm slide; talk about a scanning nightmare![:0] The good news is it still exists. The bad news is it is in need of much restoration. It belongs to the Jaffa Mosque Shriners in Altoona, Pa.[)] They are interested in getting it refurbished but, unless donations are earmarked for this purpose, donations go to the burn centers they support.[^] They are looking for local shops/volunteers to contribute.
            Obviously, monetary contributions could be used to pay shops to do the work.
            Let me see..., contribute to a two-ended Studebaker...or the future of a child in desparate need? Hmmmm?
