...used on the GT Hawks. Does anyone know where I buy them? Couldn't fine them in the SI cat.

They have them on line. They're called a Door Chevron, they're $35.00 each.

"Inserts" are not available, you have to buy the complete Emblem.

That does kind of make sense because when the Inserts are torn and faded the "Gold" or Chrome on '63'-'64's will usually have "spiders" and pits also.

I made inserts for my Hawk out of red, white and blue duct tape, just a temporary fix, but it looks good.

Decal kits were available for many years for the door and grille 'tri-color' emblems. Not sure who made them but they were a great idea.

We may have to investigate this further.............

That would be Stuart Tritt, he used to be our "go to" guy for all of the Car Show Trophies, Wall Plaques etc. when he had his business. Very good Guy! A dependable seller.

I am not sure it was him that made the Chevron Decals 30 years ago, but I'll bet he could.

AFAIK, he is still in business. He has an ad in the Oct. '14 TW. Do you know something very recent?

Stuart is around, I just saw him recently at our Zone meet. He was also at Dover and supplied the awards there.

Think of the time it took me to tape and paint 4 of theses RWB hubcaps..

I had called Stuart to see if he would be willing to make Red/White/Blue inserts for the hubcaps.

                          He thought I was crazy..

That is one awesome looking Jonquil Yellow '61 Vert! I love "almost" everything about it.

There is always the "But" though, here it comes... it must be your choice or you would not have done it, BUT, that '62 Grille is so ugly, I would definitely have chosen the '63. At least it is a quick change.

But then again, it IS your wife's Car and certainly NOT mine!

In my opinion, Jonquil Yellow is by far the best color for a Lark of that vintage. I say that having a Colonial Red Lark.
