      I believe that it is an open car, not a roadster and definitely not a "convertible".

        I agree. I could go for a different set of tail lights, but otherwise, the look and stance is just right, imo.

          A lot of customs get those taillights but they actually look right on this one. I like it!

              Yes, appears to be a removed top altogether. Caddy tail lights are nice as are the ripple hub caps. Do not care for the satin finish.

                There is a fiberglass top for it. Here is his description.

                1957 studebaker silver hawk 2 door hard top convertible, clean AZ car no rust, old school build, body has been lowered, roof has been chopped 4 in front and 8 in back, shaved doors and louverd hood, 59 cadillac tail lights. Car has removable fiberglass hard top roof. motor chevy 283 stroked out to a 302, double hump heads, edelbrock carb, weiand valve covers, custom side exhaust lake pipes trans 2 speed automatic, posi rearend, car sits on vintage style rims with coker classics white walls 15 inch tires interior classic tuck n roll, boss am/fm cd, new black carpet, exterior flat black with pinstriped side flames and accents This machine runs and drives great, always turns heads as it goes down the road and thumbs up

                      I think this is the same car, listed for over 6 months in Laveen AZ, on the southern outskirts of Phoenix. But $2k cheaper.

                          Yes, it may have a removable top, but it is not a convertible without windows or a roadster without at least side curtains.
