If you are looking for a "turn key" Studebaker Champ, tthis may be the one for you. I purchased this truck in April 2015, after a two year frame off restoration, and in excess of $33,000 spent in parts and labor. This truck was restored at Studebaker Restorations in New York. (All documentation on this restoration will be provided to buyer). The truck had 150 miles on Odometer when delivered to me. To name only a few items included in the restoration, was a complete rebuild and balance of original motor, upgrading the cab, changing rear end gearing to 3:73-1 for better road speed (55-60 MPH), installing heavy duty Generator, new Carburetor, and Pertronix Ignition. This truck was built as a Daily Driver, not as a Trailer Queen. The truck passed Virginia State Inspection 4/18.

Very nice looking '60 Champ, but still ANOTHER one to add to my list of Champs & '59-'60 Lark 8's with the Climitizer Hot Water inlet hose that SHOULD be to the Valve, going straight into the Heater Core so it cannot be shut off!

Welcome to the SDC and to the SDC Forum Tom!

The Model Code E7 means it was originally a V8 like your loose Engines, either 259 or 289 c.i.d.

FYI, To I.D. them, you can go to our Home Page, then: Resources, then: Studebaker Tech Tips, Specs and Data, and then: "UPDATED! Studebaker V/8 Engine Identification".

Here is a Link, the easy way!

Here is where to look, it is a Stamped into the machined flat Pad, Serial Number.

                              1960 Champ 5E11-122, serial# E11-13995, with the standard 94hp six cylinder, manual trans, and Dana 60 (4.27).
I picked him up last fall as a project. The floors are rotted, and previously repaired with plywood, as are the rockers and rear of front fenders.
