  • something interesting done to my 59 lark posi style

hmm joe got a posi, a bigger one for his 56, the correct one. so he is putting a 307 posi in mine. dont much about them, but i think its cool. right now my car doesnt have one in it. also because of the sale of the 58l packard, i was able to get the things to complete my vintage camper. am stoked. i am blessed to have such a good husband as joe is. it was so generous of him to help me do my camper in his not much spare time and let me spend money to fix it. his birthday is three weeks from now, my joe will get a special birthday from me for his continuing love for me. he said in the spring of next year we will possibly look for a lark convertible

Speaking from experience-- I hope you have a 289 or better in that Lark if you plan on towing your Scotty. A 3.07 is not going to do you any favors in that department. Especially on any sort of hill. My '65 (since retired from this duty) is powered by a 283/Flight-o-Matic, and she didn't like towing a little 4x8 U-Haul with only 1000 pounds of stuff. I can't imagine a '59 doing much better with a bigger Scotty hangin' in the breeze behind you...

Now- out on the open road- without the parachute- a 3.07 spun by a V8 is a bunch of fun, let me tell you!!!
