  • Need a gauge

I'm looking for a gas/temp/oil/amp gauge for my '64 Daytona convertible. Preferably NOS. I don't think Studebaker International carries them. Does anyone else know of a possible source? Pic of what I'm looking for posted here. Thanks guys.

The separate gauges most of us vendors will have, the whole cluster would be harder to find NOS.

Your Fuel Gauge looks faded, some or all of the others may have been replaced. There are Co's that refurbish gauges.

As Frank, said the individual Gauges DO remove,
which one or ones are Bad?

The Fuel and Temp. are the only ones that usually fail, the Ammeter & Mechanical Oil Press. are never a problem.

The 2 commonly failed electric ones are NLA, but a few vendors do have limited numbers of NOS or good used stock.

I have gotten tested Used ones from Tom Karkiewicz who has the Big White Bus full of Parts at East Coast meets and International meets.
Unfortunately I can't find a number for him for you because his State and Address/Phone are all unlisted in our SDC Roster.

I apologize guys.....I should have been more clear. My gauges work fine, but the "face" of the gauge is faded (as well as the fuel gauge that StudeRich noted). So, I guess its more the "face" I'm in need of so it better matches the others. I got a NOS speedo from Stude Intl and a very good used clock from another source so I'm trying to upgrade the remaining unit to match.

            Sorry for the confusion.

OK, it's a really GOOD Silver GREEN '64-'66 Instrument background that you need.
It was never sold separately but I am sure someone could disassemble their Assy. and sell a used Face/Background or the Housing, Bezel, Glass and Background less the expensive Gauges.

Do not worry about trying to match the Clock face color, since the Instruments were made by Stewart Warner and the Clock by Borg, they never did match, Clocks are more Gray than Green.
