  • Studebaker a 'Jeopardy' question tonight

Can't believe no one posted this yet since the whole country gets this program before we do. The question was 'South Bend, Indiana was the home of this now defunct car make', followed by this photo:

OK, I give up what was the correct question? And did anyone get it?

And of all the Studebakers they could have put on the screen it had to be a bullet nose. I guess that reinforces the idea that the bullet nose has become the iconic Studebaker. I blame the Muppets.

Yes it's neat to see and hear the Studebaker name come up from time to time. You here it in the dialogue on some episodes of M*A*S*H as well.

The best part was that someone actually knew what it was! They had some help though, the category was things that start with the letter S! <G>

My wife shouted out the answer while I was busy on the computer!

"Studebaker" seems to popular to throw in to conversations. I suppose it is because it is unusual and catches people's attention. I was reading Clive Cussler's book "The Kingdom" a few days ago. The husband and wife adventurers were discussing the bath tub in their hotel room in Nepal. Husband's comment was that the bath tub was as big as a Studebaker.

This is the first that I have been online since that show yesterday. I was looking to see if someone else had posted it before posting.

Wife was watching the show and I was on the PC. Heard the question being asked and thought the question was as lame as asking what color hair is blond? I was embarrassed that my auto passion was dealt with such a trite question.
