Seeing Malcolm's Wagonaire should be on every Studebaker nut's bucket list (along with talking with Malcolm about it),
Howard - Los Angeles chapter SDC
'53 Commander Starliner (Finally running and driving, but still in process)
'56 Golden Hawk (3 speed/overdrive, Power steering - Running, but not yet driving)
'58 Packard Hawk. A partially restored car that was not completely assembled.

This one now has a 5 Speed Manual Overdrive Transmission behind it's R2 Avanti Engine, It could have been factory, but someone who is sure will have clarify that.

When all else fails read the article, says it wasn't an R2 from the factory. I saw the car in Springfield Mo. Very nice Wagonaire.
