To calculate true mileage, use this method:

Miles divided by blood lost through busted knuckles, multiplied by the level of satisfaction gained through the effort. Now add the number of friends acquired and the days accrued in the joy of driving and showing, and you start to arrive at the true value of gas mileage. You formula my be slightly different, but I can bet the results are similar.

My Studebaker gets a million times the mileage of all Priuses combined. A far better value.
Well said! Using my mathematics teacher background, I would also mention that the amount of interest in a Prius divided by the amount of interest is a Studebaker is too small to be measured.

I have not seen this car since 2011, the last year the ECTA raced at Maxton, North Carolina. It was a wonderful looking, sounding and running car. Lots of changes since then it seems. It was great to see the car on the road pulling the trailer with his racing parts aboard. I would think the asking price is indeed a good one.

I tried to help Peter in the pits as he was setting up, but he is pretty much a one man show and I just got in the way. I was there to help his brother, Paul, run his 62 Rancherro. With only adding the items necessary for safety and running the same tune he drove the car down with he popped a 200.89mph pass. And he was spinning the rear tires the last 100 yards. He runs an iron block ls truck block and gets about 150 miles per 10 gallon tank. Burns ethyl on the street and race gas on the track. It takes about 3 one mile passes to empty the race gas.
