Thanks for the pics. Not many people are in my corner for the Tangerine and White combo. Honestly I'm not 100% sold on it myself. Mine would look like the Hawk combo as I have only one side molding and so the hood and top would be white. I still have approx. two weeks to decide. I have only bought one quart of color so far so things could change. Thanks again.

I'd most definitely keep it Tangerine/Snowcap White!! You don't see that combination on a '56 at every Studebaker meet!

Yea, But I middle aged man driving a pink car. I'm not sure I can handle the daily driving when I am not at a meet. Still going to go with it I just have to get use to it and as I always have been a little different when it comes to old cars.

If it was a 2008 Hyundai, I could see that!! But its a 1950's car, and that color was commonly seen on cars of all makes, clock radios, etc, from that era. You go to a car show today, there are a lot of coral/salmon/tangerine cars from the 1950's present, so you'd be in good company.

That IS pretty impressive Craig, at least on a '56 Golden anyway. I gotta be honest, I know I won't like it THAT well, on a '56 Pelham/Parkview. But then, it is not MY car!

Maybe it's just because this is a sporty car, and a wagon is a hauler/camping in the forest kinda car, that needs a bit more of a woodsy/earth tone or masculine color!

Actually '57 Woodsmoke Gray or Canyon Coppertone kinda says that, doesn't it?!

IT WILL BE TANGERINE AND SNOW CAP WHITE. The decision has been made. Let the chips fall where they may. It if is to overwhelming I may paint the fins White instead of Tangerine just like the Hawk. But it will go original in the first pass.

                                A good decision [8D]

As you may have also noticed the pics. of the '56 Golden Hawk and the '56 President posted on this topic appear to have been taken under a bright, noon-time sun condition ...at least they appear that way on my monitor! Three hours later ...or earlier ...or on an overcast day, the "Tangerine" in those picture would have taken on a whole different appearance.
