The part IS correct for a few Hawks, but VERY few at that.
Something that Jerry Forrester would chrome on his car, that is usually painted...

The inside windshield molding on the driver's side. Should be interior color; matte black in your case.

BINGO, Craig! This is only the second trivia question you've gotten right this weekend! [)]

Both sides and the top windshield interior trim (stainless) are from a '56 Golden Hawk. (And only some of those came with it).

I'm glad you corrected that, Matthew. When you said that the fender lights work -- well, 62s did NOT have fender lights.

I looked right at the moldings and didn't see it.
What evaporator unit is in use? I'm trying to determine what to use. I would like to use a Vintage Air unit behind the dash, but I don't think it will fit without putting the radio somewhere else. Thanks for any thoughts you might have.

The "Radio install panel" in this car has provision for a SPEAKER, right under that "built for" nameplate! Which as far as I know, was only used on '62's, '63's have NO front speaker!

That may not be what you are looking for though, since I can't imagine any nut chroming it!

Ahh, now I see it, the left windshield moulding has chrome plating or is one of those rare stainless ones!! Like in a '56 Sky Hawk!!

Man, this out of sequence thing must be really messing me up, I didn't know 8E45 GOT IT...AGAIN!!!
