I did something similar with my M5:
Found an inexpensive 12v amp that accepts USB input. Took out the old speaker and put in a dual voice coil speaker. The amp costs $27 (I think I got it for $18 about a year ago), the speaker costs $69

I needed something to play music on for my upcoming trip to South Bend. I just bought a cheap tracfone android and was looking for a cheap bluetooth wireless speaker to connect to the phone for playing mp3s in the Stude. Most look like they only have one speaker but I found this one at target for 30 bucks. I'm sure not going to pay 200 bucks for a beats pill. I did a search and some places might be less. It sounds pretty good. It'll do for now
