Glad they will recover. People are more important than even Studebakers.
At the very least if the insurance company agrees. The Studebaker will give up
some good parts.
Was thinking, as I'm completely rebuilding the braking system on my
57 Packard. Wonder if the truck's brakes gave way?
The Chevrolet Avalanche took quite a hit as well. Probably both will be totaled.Last edited by 57pack; 04-27-2014, 06:01 AM.sigpic1957 Packard Clipper Country Sedan

The truck appears to have an independent front suspension of some sort. It probably had upgraded brakes, but still they could have failed. The Buick headlight rim reminds me of a pickup that I saw a picture of recently. I wonder if it was the same truck.Last edited by 52-fan; 04-29-2014, 06:57 AM."In the heart of Arkansas."

The accident happened about 14 miles from me as the crow flies, and less then a couple hundred yards from the scene of the tragic Amish School House (now torn down) shooting a few years back. Glad no serious injuries. Honey Brook is 3 miles from me, but I do not know Mr.Palmer.
Poor old Stude took a hard hit.
