Does anybody know where I can find usable door panels for my 61 lark? I understand the panels are the same in size for all years of Lark except the Cruiser. Is this true? I've been unable to find reproductions. I'd be grateful for any knowledge or help that can be provided. Thanks...T.J.

Hello T.J.,
Welcome to the forum! What model of 61' Lark do you have? I own a 1961 4-Door Deluxe w/ the 6 cylinder and automatic transmission. Have you tried looking at the home page which has a list of vendors? The link to the page is here: http://www.studebakerdriversclub.com/valuablelinks.asp
In addition, I have done business with a company called SMS fabrics: http://www.smsautofabrics.com/. In fact they sent me some samples awhile back for my 1961, and they have also sent some material for my 1951 Land Cruiser that I am working on. Now I am sure there are other places, and I am sure not everybody is going to agree about my choice on this forum. But, here are some options. You will find that this forum has a lot of helping hands. I look forward to the pictures!

The Front Door Panels are all the same for 4 Doors, Cruisers and 4 Dr. Wagons.
The REAR Door Panels would be 4 Inches longer for a Cruiser.
Fronts for Two Door Sedans & Wagons would be all by themselves, also Hardtops and Convertibles.
When you join SDC and are getting your Monthly copy of "Turning Wheels", many parts come up in the Classified Section from time to time.
And we do have TWO SDC Members who do have portions of the remaining Studebaker Corp. Upholstery from South Bend, it's just very limited for pre 1962 but you could ask.
One is: Will and Lori Sanders in Colorado at Starlight Studebaker: http://www.starlightstudebaker.comLast edited by StudeRich; 02-26-2014, 07:42 PM.StudeRich

Hi TJ, I believe you can find them over to Will Sanders place. It's called Starlight Studebaker.
Just google him, download his form and submit.
He had tons of OEM Studebaker interior parts. I bought a complete interior for my Wagonaire from Will.
Now you have to be patient, Will and Lori are full time school teachers and the Studebaker business is a part time job.
Good luck with your Lark and welcome to a fantastic forum.sigpic1957 Packard Clipper Country Sedan

Door panels are easy to make. I use 1/4 or even 1/8 inch plywood and ratty one for a template then you can cover in the interior of your choice,If you car is ugly then it better be fast.....
