Muscatine Iowa dealer stock – 1942 Studebaker Turbomatic transmission

Anyone know who purchased the parts inventory of the Muscatine, Iowa dealer? I was talking to a long time SDC member recently re the 1942 Studebaker Turbomatic transmissions and mentioned that 6 cars had been built with the new automatic (3 Commanders and 3 Presidents) before production was halted due to the war and scarcity of parts. While no survivors are currently known I mentioned that there was one reportedly extant in the Muscatine, Iowa area as late as the 1960s. He said he had visited the old Studebaker dealer in Muscatine and recalled there being a mimeographed shop manual for an automatic transmission in the files of that dealership. Just curious if anyone knows anything about that dealership or what may have happened to the inventory. My records do not show a name or address so they were likely out of the Studebaker business prior to the factory closings in the period 1963-66. ('42 below for illustration only.)

Wasn't the Stude 'Turbo-Matic' something like the 'Fluid Drive' Chrysler products?

I noticed in this dealer list that Freese Motors of Monticello IA had been a Studebaker Dealer before taking on Ford in 1952.

Freese is there today and has quite a few Ford obsolete parts (they're listed on partsvoice.com), so I wonder if they also may have Studebaker obsolete parts.
