  • "Found" Coupe Express seen in transport. Where do they keep coming from???

Seen today southbound on Hwy99 through California's Central Valley was a '37 CE on a trailer. Looking like it had just been pulled from a chicken coop or barn. The hood and grille had been removed, but looking at the windshield shape and slope I'm sure it was a '37. I was driving, so no pictures. Looked to be in decent shape, all things considered. It was white. Or had been. Now I can't remember the tow vehicle: Ford or Chevy? It was two-tone, white and brown. Crew cab or extended.
    Anyone know anything?

Amazing they keep showing up!! I have owned 7 including 5-'39s, one-37 and one-38 which I still have. Thought some might be interested in this large poster of the '37 that originally was used in The Studebaker News dealer publication. It is almost 2 X 3 foot (22 X 32"). If anyone is interested I can have one made for you.

Same could be said about the Packard Hawks. After I finally bought mine I would see them surface everywhere. Just this week I've found 2 more on CL. Starting to wonder how many have really survived.

Yeah, John. January Turlock Swap is like Second Christmas for me. Once Christmas hits it's: Wahoo! Turlock here I come. Haven't missed since probably 1981. Admission was FREE and there was more to see and less to look through.
