I can only remember seeing one picture of a Yellow 57-58. About how many were produced in 57-58? Does anyone have some more pictures to share. What color interior would they have had? Thanks Richard

I love looking at Golden Hawks and would like to have one. What color do I like the most? Probably Gold. But, is sure is refreshing seeing a variety of colors. My 1st car. "A TRANSTAR"

I do not believe I have ever seen a Yellow '57 or '58 Golden, the Yellow/Gold was not available.
The Yellow Gold's were quite popular for '56 however, on Golden Hawks, Sky Hawks and a few Power Hawks as well.

For information on 1958 Golden Hawks and the number of each color built in that year, check my article in the September 2007 issue of Turning Wheels. Yellow was not offered on 1958 Golden Hawks (however, White Gold Metallic was offered), but six '58 GH were painted a color the production order called "Special". Also, Studebakers that were assembled in plants in foreign countries were usually shipped without paint. This applied to 48 of the 878 '58 Golden Hawks. It's possible that one or more of those was painted yellow.

I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I have seen many '56 and '57's with a Two Tone Black and White and Black and other colors like Turquoise etc., and to me, the combination of all colors and lack of ANY = BLACK, and it just kills anything with C O L O R.
It does look sort of OK on the right car with the right amount of Trim, in SOLID Black however.StudeRich
