  • Madd Doodler '13 calendar, November's car...

...is the prettiest '62 Lark Regal convertible. Does anybody who has the calendar, know what Studebaker called that color? It's sort of a chocolate-milk, dark metallic color. All three of the '62 Larks I can remember in town when I was a kid, owned by people we knew, were this color! It's one of my favorite '62 colors.

      Bill,

According to my '62 paint selector (transaprencies of the models over large paint chips) this is simply Metallic Brown.

Thanks guys. This would probably be my choice for a '62 color Stude, followed by the turquoise that year. I actually remember a GT Hawk in the same color in Greenville too! The Stude dealer there, a friend of mine, said he didn't remember why I'd remember so many of that same color in town.
