Looks pretty nice for a Caddy setup....
Wonder what it will end up going for?....

I love it, want it, and need it, but with 8 days to go, 12 bidders so far and up to $256 I can't afford it. :>(

I have that same manifold laying on a shelf in the shop. Looks like new.
Can do the Studemod's to is and add the AFB plates (or let someone else do that)...
I'd sell it a LOT cheaper than that...
Heck, I'd even trade it off for some late 2bbl intake cores, or some decent head cores...

Only issue I can see with this Cad manifold (besides the weight) is hood clearance, if it's going to be used on a C/K or Avanti......especially if carb adapter plates are used with it.

If you're (notice I didn't type 'your', that bugs the crap outta me) running a set-up like that, why wouldn't you want a hole, or at least a bump on the hood to let the world know that you have a special little something under the hood.

I'm sure the bidding isn't over on this item by far as I have seen the manifold alone go for more than current bid. Jerry keeping everything concealed under the hood gives one the impression that its a grocery getter

Josh has been talking to me about a scoop on the hood of his Lark. He has an extra hood,so if he doesn't like it, He can go back.

I know what You mean...Oldsmobile Division must have thought so too when they built a few of those 'See Through' (plexi-windowed) hoods to show off their new V8 OHV engine in 1949. Saw one of those Olds '88's with that rare hood at the Imperial Palace in Vegas years ago.

Remember the custom"Hemi Under Glass?" I think it was a 53 HT with a 426 in the backseat and a plexiglas top.

                            This ain't my first rodeo.

In my younger days I enjoyed the idea of suckering the other rodders in with a grocery getter looking hot rod. But hey, I'm 70 years old and now I just want to look mean enough to where they will be scared and not fool with me. <G>
