FOX TO AIR BARRETT-JACKSON COLLECTOR CAR AUCTION LIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ON BROADCAST TELEVISION

FOX will broadcast two hours of live event coverage on Saturday, Jan.18, from 1-3 p.m. MT (3-5 p.m. ET). More than 40 hours of additional coverage from Scottsdale will be shown on other FOX networks. The detailed programming schedule will be announced in coming months.

Expanded Barrett-Jackson coverage will benefit the collector car hobby, allowing more viewers to see the variety of classics, exotics, muscle cars, hot rods, resto-mods and contemporary collectibles on the market today. This new, national platform will attract a more diverse audience to the industry, providing additional viewing opportunities to the new generation of automotive fans.

This year only 1 Studebaker, a '49 2R pickup , modified. Talked to the owner ....nice guy , he also has a 58 Dodge sweepside that was really nice. I seen the Stude go across the block bringing $38,000 but I missed the Dodge. I will post some pics later.

Well FOX televised Vegas B-J Auction, so I took that's what the notice was about.

Here is a shot of the 49 Studebaker pickup that went across the block on Saturday , selling for $38,000 , its out of California , anyone out there know this truck ?

That was a very nice truck Jeff....it had a vette engine , 700R tranny , air leather interior. I was there when they fired it up to go to auction and it sure sounded very nice.
