Heck, most club chapters can't even get members to get to every club meeting, let alone drive a Stude to it.
Look at our own state meets, zone meets, and international meets.
Hardly anybody knows about them outside our own little circle.
Not a slam. Just an observation.
And we are the same way with our cars and trucks.
A local show... yeah. Driving it to town for coffee...maybe.
But promoting the marque by looking out the window and seeing someone looking at your Stude is never going to bring mass attention to Studebakers.
      That's OK.
But to pretty much live in a closed group and then lament about noone new coming along...
That's because you haven't gone out and gotten them.
We need our own reality show.

We need to hype it up to get the interest of young'ns.....

      It could work.
I suppose my problem then is that I'm an extrovert.

I like to talk to people, to mingle, to strike up conversations with strangers. If you accidentally wrong-number dial my home, I'm the sort of guy that's willing to have a 20 minute conversation with you. Maybe that's why I see the "problem" that many believe to exist as fragile and easy to overcome. If 14,000 extroverts owned the world supply of Studebakers, everyone would want one. Condition 4 Larks would sell for $20k, and every celebrity would have a C/K in their garage. (Okay, I'm being a little facetious.) As it is, Studebakers are kept on the DL, as the kids I work with might say. We're a very tight knit world, and I think that has a strong effect on not only our cars' values, but also the number of people looking for them. You can't go looking for something you don't know exists. If we could change that attitude, I imagine that the cars would certainly grow vastly more popular.
