"Vince Gardner Special" 47 Stude racer

I've been told that the "Collectible Automobile" magazine, of October 2007, has a profile of designer Vince Gardner with several pictures and much information on this custom car. Vince was one of "Bourkes Bad Boys" was he not? The magazine has a picture of a '61 Chrysler 300, on the cover. I think I remember seeing that issue at Borders, awhile ago. Too pricey for me but if anyone has seen it, I'd like to hear about it. Thanks, Huck

It's well worth the $8.00 it cost me for that issue, I bought it at the book store (the only place here that you can find the "not so popular" mags) for the '59 Studebaker Deluxe pickup centerfold story and on the back cover, then I found that life history of Vince Gardner, another story worth buying it for! [^]
