Mr. Biggs is right. I've been half tempted to just take it apart, store the good parts and either ebay them or take to the drivers club meets and sell off the pieces. I'd love to see it saved..but have several dilemnas with it.. firt is the harassing hoa, second the cost of completing her. The value after restoration and the fact that i'm not in total love with the car. With what the car needs, one would need a rust bucket parts car with decent chome, windshield and interior to make it whole or or take the parts from it to finish another car. The thing this car has going for it is its rust free and solid.

Why not put the car up on eBay, with lots of good pictures to show how sound the body is? If the HOA knows the car is offered for sale on a seven-day auction, I expect they'd cut you a little slack, knowing that you are making a sincere effort to sell it.

I think "slack" and "HOA" are mutually incompatible terms! I would love to have this car, but I'm fighting just to keep one in my driveway at the moment...
