Couple of pics of the E7--almost done!!!

Still waiting on the hood ornament from George Iverson--when I sent it to him in April he told me "Labor Day" and sure enough I got a call yesterday telling me I should have it the week after Labor Day--slow but sure! He's the best, so it will have been worth the wait!

We still have to put in the dual master cyliner with the little mini-booster as well. Got to fabricate some stainless tailgate chains as well.

Notice the little oval turn signals set into the grill--they're off of a trike and the fit perfect! We didn't have to drill a single hole to install them! They are halogen and plenty bright and will really add to the overall saftey--especially since this is my wife's daily driver! This was Tommy Myers' idea and it was a good one!

We're shooting to have the truck done in time to drive her to the Zone meet in Clovis--it'll be down to the wire, but I think we're gonna make it!

Yeah, it's kinda sad and wonderful at the same time that this truck will see daily service starting in about 2-3 weeks. My wife isn't too concerned about wear and tear--she drove this one about 70,000 miles in the last ten years and will probably put another 70K on it in the next ten years, God willing!

She feels that a new Honda Civic costs MORE than what this restoration ran us, and the Stude is a MUCH more interesting and practical ride in many ways. You should see her coming back from the nursery with 10 sacks of soil and manure and a whole BUNCH of plants loaded in the back of the Stude--can't do that in a Prius!
