This is a one of a kind street-rod designed by Brooks Stevens and his son Kipp
built at the original Excaliber plant in West Allis Wi.in 1965-66.
It used a new Studebaker frame and modified suspension and the body
was an Oldsmobile 4-dr sedan heavily modified to fit this chassis.
The engine is an original LS-6 with a 4-speed.
The electrical was hand built and the rare Marchant headlites are like new.
The full leather interior is in very nice condition as are the full compliment of gages.
Tires and wheels are in very good condition as are the disc brakes.
The car is very quick and a blast to drive.
Being one of a kind you know that another won't show up on cruise nite.

I've seen it. Rode in it. I don't think he mentioned the Brooks Stevens connection. It's been about 8 years. At that time it had a bad wheel bounce in the front end at 45 mph. I suspected rubber balls in the tires. He was gonna change the fronts and drive it. He never updated what he found. The car doesn't impress me at all. Unless he did more work on it, the pics make it look better than it really is. I can look at it for some one if they want.
