Need Left Rear Fender for 51 Business Coupe

I have a 1951 Studebaker Champion Business Coupe. I need to find a good Left rear fender for it.
Anybody have one???

I was trying to sort out the gravel guards when another SDC member pointed out that someone had modified my fender. There is a raised area that is pretty much horizontal along the bottom of the fender on the stock unit. My fender has been customized so there is a more prominent scallop that points upward at the front edge.

I think that it actually looks pretty cool but the fender on the other side has the stock contour and I would rather have the correct fender on both sides....

I am in The San Francisco area, so something close would be nice. I really want a good fender without rust holes and dents. Asking too much????

Allen, you might contact Roy Valdez. He has a lot of bullet nose body parts.

Have you stripped the existing fender to see what was done to modify it? It may just be a glob of bondo that can be sanded off or some lead that can be melted off.

The inside of the fender shows cutting and metal work I think they hacked into it and did welding as well as fiberglass. There is definitely a hole and the outer fender contour is not correct where the proper gravel guard should mount.

Just curious, was the rear fender for the business coupe unique or share with other body styles?

The same rear fender was used on all 2 door cars 50-52 and then again on 47-49, so it is not unique

To clarify, the '47-'49 would bolt on but the tail light was horizontal rather than vertical; modifiable but quite different.

Hi there, sorry to hijack but i'm after a pass side (or pair) of '51 front fender(s), they are the same as '50.

I have some 52 and I think they are the same except for extra holes or side grille system. here in California, rust free.

Pat, Allen knows where I am and knows me well, I just don't have long rear fenders that is needs , I only have the fronts for the person asking in the post number 9.
