  • Unusual Studebaker Items #24 (bumper guard bonanza)

    Studebaker used to offer some pretty wild bumper guards and overriders. These are only the ones that they still had by mid 1950. I used to have a number of various sets, but many were "broken" sets (where one or more pieces had been taken out probably to replace a damaged piece on a customer car).

    Definitely not as nice looking as the ones we see in the parts books with the wrap around to the end of the bumper

      i was never really a big fan of large bumper guards, but this one - on this car, has grown on me. the ones on the '40 (pic below in sig line), are about as big as i'd usually like.
