      Perhaps the one thing you could do to enhance its value would be to sandblast the body sheet metal, and shoot a uniform coat of etching primer, so that a buyer would have a good foundation upon which to build.

      I realy like the waterfall grille in the '39s; prettier than the '37 CE grille, to my taste. The sidemount does not work as well, though, because they shortened up the front clip, which made the sidemount ride too high to look right. Sidemounts look good, no, not good, better than that, RIGHT, on cars from '37 and back. By '39, styling was getting cleaned up and smoother, and sidemounts just don't belong. If I were to do a '39 CE, I'd use a sedan front fender, and mount the spare under the box. The factory should have done it that way.

          We'll just take pictures as it is to show we're not trying to hind the surface rust, hit the surface rust with a D-A sander and just prime to protect and give it some curb appeal.
