  • You never know what you’ll find around the next corner…

Drove down the street this morning, turned the corner and lo & behold there sits this white ’63 GT Hawk in a showroom.

Anyway, it is For Sale …asking price is a "little stiff" at $21,000 for a "driver quality" '63 GT Hawk. Serial # is 63V10034. Placard indicates it has a "259" with 4-speed (HURST shifter) installed, but has an engine number of either RK 32(?) or PK 32(?). Was able to get Seller's contact info should anyone on here be interest …PM me. Vehicle currently located in Bradenton, FL

That's a nice looking ride. What's up with the dual-snorkel air cleaner, though? That's not a Stude part, right?

That's a new one to me too. It looks like it could be a modified stock air cleaner.

They were not "Supposed" to have 259's for the US, but you know what everyone has been saying about: always, never, all etc.

But this "289"? Engine PK32 Block in the Car is not the original Engine, it was built Oct. 2, 1963 for a 1964 Car.
It very well may have been rebuilt with a 259 Crank, who knows.

'Prolly is, Chris. Howe Clark has a similar one on his 1962 Daytona Convertible, made from a stocker to which someone added a second snorkel. BP
