Trying to find a year for a studebaker Pickup

Model 2-R C-2 Cab is a # 220711 if any one can help date this truck thxs

The six digits make me believe that is the cab number, found on a plate attached to the step riser at the rear of the door, and facing forward. The serial number should be on another plate attached to the center of the step riser just below the seat, and facing outward.

If you're in Okie Land like I suspect, then you may have another issue....
Oklahoma was pretty strange about registering the trucks by the engine number for some reason.....
That's the way mine came... Bought it near Durant while I was in college at 19...

The Serial# tag for the truck should be like Dwain Said, take a look above the step plate on the driver's side just before you get to the seat....
Should be a 90 degree left from the Body tag that you described before..
It may be missing, like mine was. Then you'll find a couple of small holes.
If so, go find the engine serial#...
That should reflect on the title.
